About InkSchedule

InkSchedule exists for one reason: to build the best booking and studio management tool specifically for tattoo studios. Not salons. Not spas. Not generic “appointment scheduling.” Tattoo studios.

Every feature we build, every decision we make, starts with the same question: does this make life easier for tattoo artists and their clients?

InkSchedule was born out of frustration. Generic booking tools don't understand tattoo workflows — the consultations, the deposits, the consent forms, the reference images, the multi-session pieces, the walk-ins vs. appointments.

Tattoo artists were forced to cobble together five different tools to do what one purpose-built platform should handle. We decided to build that platform.

InkSchedule was founded by Alain Kessler, based in Switzerland. What started as a side project to solve a real problem has grown into a dedicated product used by studios around the world.

We're a small, indie team. Bootstrapped. No venture capital, no outside pressure to ship features that don't matter. We answer to our users, not investors.

This means we move fast, listen closely, and build what actually needs building. Every feature in InkSchedule exists because a real studio asked for it or because we saw a genuine gap in the workflow.
